Not much to say really, you turn up, get changed, do 45 min of instructed exercise then you can do whatever you want for the other 45 min.

If you really don't want to do it then get a doctors note or make one yourself if you think you can get away with it

Seriously, there is no excuse, it's 90 min every 2 weeks! If you need this time for studying then you are studying wrong and any exercise is good for you. Plus its only for 4 semesters.
